During the different seasons we make the most of our natural environment by extending the classroom outside, with activities that include planting and tending to our vegetable garden or bringing botany & zoology to life by exploring the living things growing around us.
Our Casa Class is a mixture of children from 3 to 6 years old, with materials appropriate for each level.
We provide our children with a prepared Montessori environment which encompasses five major learning areas that interrelate with each other:
- Practical Life
- Sensorial
- Language
- Mathematics
- Cultural Studies
Each area is organised in such a way that the child learns sequentially, starting with the basics and progressing to the more difficult.
The whole classroom gives children the opportunity to practice skills that will help them function independently and confidently outside of the preschool.
